Ithaca College Woodwind Day
Announcing the Ithaca College Woodwind Day! We look forward to providing an outstanding in-person event for middle and high school musicians, as well as band directors and educators! This symposium is also approved by NYSED to offer 8 CTLE credit hours.
Guest Clinician: University of Central Oklahoma
Allison will guide undergraduate and graduate students in a masterclass featuring 3 UCO flute students of Dr. Emily Butterfield. Additionally, Allison will lead the UCO flute studio in a warm-up and fundamental workshop and present a solo performance of Homeland by Allison Loggins-Hull.
Hayley Miller: Masterclass & Performance
The University of Rhode Island Department of Music, flute faculty member Allison Parramore, and the URI Flute Studio are excited to welcome guest artist Hayley Miller to campus on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025. Cobus du Toit: Flute Masterclass
Dr. Cobus du Toit, Associate Professor of Flute at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, will present a master class for the students in the studio of Allison Parramore, artist/teacher of flute at URI. Dr. du Toit is a native of South Africa and has soloed with orchestras around the world. Since 2010 he has been the principal flute in the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, Colorado. This event is free and open to the public.
