Longy School of Music of Bard College and the James Pappoutsakis Memorial Fund present the 2nd Annual Boston Flute Day.

The event will be held at Longy’s Zabriskie House (27 Garden Street) and is free and open to the public.

Overview schedule of the day:

• 3-6pm Flutistry Boston Showcase in the Longy Lounge: instrument sales, mini repair services, sheet music, and accessories

• 4:00pm Longy student pop-up performance

• 4:30-5:30pm Masterclasses led by Longy flute faculty
  Open Repertoire Class led by Allison Parramore
  Body Mapping Class led by Vanessa Breault Mulvey

• 6-8pm James Pappoutsakis Memorial Fund Competition Final Round, featuring a public performance by this year’s four finalists, in Edward M. Pickman Hall.
