MICROSOFT TEAMS: Turn On Music Mode

On Computer (Windows / Mac)

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.

  2. Join or start a meeting.

  3. In the meeting, click … (More).

  4. Click Settings or Audio settings.

  5. Turn Music mode / High fidelity music mode = ON.

  6. Set Noise suppression = Off.

On Phone (iPhone / Android)

  1. Open the Teams app.

  2. Join or start a meeting.

  3. Tap the screen, then tap … (More).

  4. Tap Audio settings.

  5. Turn Music mode = On.

  6. Turn Noise suppression = Off

Zoom Instructions to Enable “Original Sound for Musicians”

If you’re using a Computer:

  • Click “Audio Settings” in Zoom.

  • Turn on “Original Sound for Musicians.”

  • Check all three boxes under “Music and Professional Audio.”

  • Once the meeting starts, return to the main screen and click “Original Sound” (top corner) to turn it on.

  • Practice this first by starting your own meeting!

If you’re using a Phone/Tablet:

  • Go to Audio Settings and enable “Original Sound” before joining the meeting.

  • Once in the meeting, enable “Original Sound” again in Audio Settings.

  • Practice this first by starting your own meeting!
