On behalf of the West Michigan Flute Association and the Great Lakes Flute Festival (GLFF) Planning Committee, I am delighted to invite you and your students to participate in the 2027 Great Lakes Flute Festival, taking place on Saturday, January 23, 2027, at Western Michigan University. The Great Lakes Flute Festival is designed to bring together flutists, teachers, performers, and music educators from across the region for a day of learning, performance, collaboration, and community. Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities for flutists of all ages and levels while strengthening the flute community throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region. For our 2027 festival, we are especially excited to offer a variety of Youth Opportunities designed for flutists between the ages of 12 and 25.
